The Horseman's more prominent facial feature would be bright, sapphire optics that glow with the ominous, chilling aura of a Death God. His complexion is pale yet healthy ; his stout and beefy physique is divinely robust and crafted for combat.Divergent traits worth noting upon first glance would be the dangerous horn protrusions sticking out from the sides of his head. His barbed four foot long tail and thick, chunky fangs are accounted as well for startling conversation topics ...Obsidian armor-like scales lie in between his illuminated and ominous sapphire eyes. The same armor lines a well defined jawline and trails down his neck, and stops right above perky pectorals. Broad shoulders, forearms, burly biceps, mid-pelvis, thighs, hips, and ankles also are protected by the durable, rough material.

Lord Thanatos is logical, highly analytical and extremely judgmental : traits innate to his being. Apathetic and callous, Thanatos is the apparition of total decimation and death : currently manifested to carry out mankind’s extinction.Reserved and notoriously poised, Thanatos prides himself on his acclaimed sense of calm and nonchalance. However, if annoyed or somehow flustered his seemingly limitless fuse has been known to drastically shorten.. Typically for this to happen, conversing with or spending an extended period of time around mortals needs to happen. . Or, simply just be bothersome beyond comprehension.Thanatos ironically is capable of appreciating the many simple, halcyon joys life has to offer. Sleeping sprawled and half off his bed, eating massive meals, and going “shopping” are a few of his guilty pleasures. Despite having an insensible, impenetrable exterior, he retains a soft spot for most living things that aren’t tied to humanity. Mother Earth’s animals and plant life included.As his time on Earth lingers onward, the more in touch with human culture he becomes.. The more accepting and accommodating he becomes… and Death now frustratingly finds himself unfortunately blending in more and more with mankind. .

Death is absolute. Death is an ingrained, fundamental aspect of its counterpart : life and vigor. The primordial ubiquity naturally acquiesces. But when called forth by the Omnipresence known as God, it embodies the form of a Fourth Seal.The final Harbinger of Retribution is Lord Thanatos and God’s loyal Pale Horseman. Thanatos’s summoning implies the Last Judgement upon man had since been evoked by His divine word. Death is the Fourth Horseman to carry out the Apocalypse. The prior three seals were composed of Death’s destructive associates : Conquest, War, and Famine, respectively. The three of which have dispersed to locations unknown to Thanatos..Subsequently from his seal’s summoning Thanatos spent much of his manifested existence amongst various angelic and celestial beings ; demons, imps, and malignant spirits alike of varying ranks and classes. Thanatos has paid Earth countless visits, as well. Though not for very long, merely to observe mortal life from afar...As The Armageddon is now underway, he now has been given an abundance of time to truly live amongst man : to adopt their bizarre customs and traditions.. To maybe discover hidden passions. Maybe to kick back and lounge about… Maybe.. to entangle himself within mankind’s blissful hysteria. Considering he is forbidden from taking human life with his own hands prior to locating the latter three Horsemen.. he has no choice but to try “taking it easy”.

If Death isn't in the mood to meander from place to place, he can teleport to any desired destination in an instant leaving being a thick, jet black smog.Shadow / Essence Control : Death has the ability to completely manipulate shadows and the physical manifestations of the soul. With this ability he can weaponize or utilize these ominous resources to any way he sees fit. Should he snatch a piece of someone's soul for his own use, the individual may become sluggish and feeble until Death returns the stolen soul fragment.Accelerated Decomposition : Rather than outright terminating a living thing, Thanatos can rapidly deteriorate any bit of organic matter he so chooses. Either by direct contact, or the mere will of it. Plants are especially sensitive to this sometimes passive ability and notoriously perish under his presence alone.Astral Projection : Similar to his teleportation ability, his usage of astral projection is a method used for getting from not only place to place, but dimension to dimension. His physical body remains stagnant, but the mind and spirit can traverse worlds and periods of history. He may even infiltrate one's own dream state.Reanimation of Lost Souls : If in need of extra hands around the penthouse for executing chores.... or a loyal army of undead, for example... Thanatos can bring the dead back to a temporary state of mindless submission. The souls brought back have no recollection of lives previously lived.Reality Manipulation: To those seeking supernatural insight, Death can manipulate someone's perception of realities rooted in the past, present, and even the future. This ability would be akin to that of triggering spiritual hallucinations that may either be completely harmless, or utterly heinous.
ㅤWeapon and SkillsContrary to popular belief, Lord Thanatos' preferred battle arm is not the scythe but a mighty battle axe deemed Requilibrium. A gargantuan cleaving device which scales the divinity's very own extreme height. This destructive tool can be summoned anywhere at anytime by Thanatos. This dangerous weapon is rarely ever called forth.Soul Steal : This is an ability ingrained within the axe itself. When triggered, Thanatos can swing the axe and sap a soul from anyone within range. What makes this skill unique is once used, the body will still be perfectly intact.Tremor Maker : As the name implies, when struck within the Earth Thanatos can rattle the ground beneath strong enough to elicit quakes. The power on this varies on the current situation.Mass Reanimation : With little to no effort Lord Death can bring back mass quantities of the dead with but the mere desire and will. The axe simply acts as a kind of amplifier.ㅤJudgement / Armageddon FormThe all encompassing aspect of decay and eternal void possesses a final, definitive evolution. Accumulated speeds can break sound barriers.Life Sapping Smog: A thick and noxious miasma can secrete from pores thus draining the life energy of anyone in range. The smog ceases all bodily functions and finishes by stopping the heart.
